St Gervais Resort Guide

Nestled at the foot of Mont Blanc, Saint-Gervis or St Gervais is one of France’s most chic and cosmopolitan ski resorts. Tourists, and latterly second home owners, have been visiting St Gervais since 1807 when the world-famous thermal spas pup the resort on the map. There are plenty of activities on offer here for the whole family - whatever the season. In winter, the 450 km of piste make St Gervais France’s third largest ski region while in summer the resort is one of the busiest in the French Alps. Walkers, hikers, bikers are all drawn to St Gervais as well as those that just want to relax in the warm, therapeutic spa waters. St Gervais’ charm lies in the fact that is not simply a ski resort. The village has a good year-round population that occupies the centre of the village and ensures that the shops, bars and restaurants stay open year round. It is this year-round rental potential that has most recently attracted property investors to the resort with many of the older, historical buildings now being renovated and renewed.
