The Olympiaregion Seefeld has a small yet superb selection of alpine ski areas boasting some 30 cable-cars and lifts. The Bergbahnen, the largest of the ski areas, features the “RosshüTen-Express”, – a high-speed 6-seater chairlift with heated seats – which whisks passengers effortlessly up to the sunny slopes at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. The Gschwandtkopf ski area can be reached from three sides and three villages – Reith, Seefeld and Mösern – and offers excellent skiing as well as delightful views.

For those keen to explore a bit further the Zugspitze glacier is just 30 minutes away and offers a further 70 kilometers of exceptional high altitude skiing late into the season. You will also find thermal spas, over 500 kilometers of cross country tracks, tobogganing and ice skating among others.
