There is also the popular Durlassboden Reservoir for swimming, fishing, pedal boats and much more.

Standalone ski chalets are exceptionally rare due to strict zoning laws. When they do appear, prices usually start at €2 million and can easily exceed €4 million for the best luxury ski-in/ski-out properties.
Gerlos is an excellent investment for buyers seeking high rental occupancy. Because of its altitude (1,247m) and position in the snow-reliable Zillertal Arena, the winter season is long, often stretching from early December to Easter.
Most new properties in Gerlos are sold with a rental obligation which is strictly enforced in Austria’s Tyrol region. This ensures that there are few ‘cold beds’ and all touristic properties are professionally managed. Net yields are strong - typically around 3.5% to 4.5%.
