Located near to the Salzach River in Tauern National Park, the village of Neukirchen is fast gaining popularity with potential property investors. Neurkirchen also has more advanced ski slopes located in the larger Zillertal Arena ski area. This ski area is just 10 minutes away and is conveniently covered on the same lift pass as the Wildkogel ski area. This offers a further 139kms of piste and includes the resorts of Gerlos, Krimml, Wald and Zell am Ziller. A 10-minute drive to Hollersbach and you reach the new Kitzbuhel gondola that provides direct access into the whole Kitzbuhel ski area with a further 170 kilometers of piste. For non-skiers, or simply a day off the piste, you will find plenty of other winter activities on offer including the world`s longest toboggan run, sleigh rides, ice skating, swimming and cross country skiing.
Neukirchen has a resident population of around 2,000 and, as such, you will find plenty of activities on offer throughout the year.
