Winter in Sölden
With approximately 144 km of ski slopes served by 31 modern lifts, Sölden is one of Austria’s best winter destinations.
A highlight of the winter season in Sölden is the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers, which ensure an exceptionally long skiing season and guaranteed snow conditions. The resort hosts the annual FIS Alpine World Cup opener each October, attracting the world’s best racers and solidifying Sölden's reputation on the global skiing map.
Sölden also features the famous “BIG3 Rally,” which includes the twin glaciers (Rettenbach and Tiefenbach), Giggijoch, and Gaislachkogl.
