Andermatt has been a huge success story. This once sleepy village has now been transformed into one of Europe’s premier alpine resorts.
Giles Gale, founder

Located on a sunny plateau just 1.5 hours from Zurich, Andermatt has recently undergone a €1 billion transformation, becoming one of the most modern ski destinations in the Swiss Alps. With 180 kilometres of reliable skiing, it offers a fantastic experience for winter sports enthusiasts. Notably, a rare exemption from Swiss foreign ownership laws allows international buyers to purchase property here without rental obligations. This has led to strong demand for both chalets and apartments. For investors seeking premium, easily accessible ski properties, Andermatt stands out as one of Switzerland's most attractive options.
